The name NZAUS was used in relation to the word Anzac, which was the name used in world war one for the Australian and New Zealand troops standing together in war.

Sniper elite is only a game, but the name suited us for what we stand for.

In the beginning we started as two separate groups of players….Australians and New Zealanders…., not really knowing anyone but regularly playing in each others games. Friendships became stronger and getting to know each others personalities through emails and voice programs like Skype, we became good friends.

The (NZ) & {AUS} tags were a way of finding other local players that like to play Sniper Elite. We found a few players and numbers just kept growing.

We both had the same interest in sniper elite, playing the game and making mods for easy game play. So we combined our knowledge and called ourselves NZAUS

NZAUS is not a clan, we are great friends playing and enjoying the game.  We have made so many friends from different parts of the world, in particular the USA & Canada where some are regulars in our games and are good friends to NZAUS.

We try to be fair when we play, but we do have some rules in our games, which are easy to follow.
